Systems-level, tiered, hyper-nested, bracketed, literate, joyful, philosophical explorations

Ryan Kuo’s site is so great. Really, it’s what you want on here (🕸). His systems-level, tiered, hyper-nested, bracketed, literate, joyful, philosophical explorations into the nature of the human projecting itself into the digital machine, gives us healthy and substantive hope.

Choices incidental, uncalculated and correct

Belief in language is akin to a belief in a mirror image. It is you in the mirror, but of course it is not you, it is an image of you. And really the image is only good enough for brushing one’s hair or putting on makeup — it’s not like you can analyze your DNA or actually see the far flung forces that hold your molecules together. Similarly it seems, that all the world and language can do is awkwardly blink at each other from each side of the glass.
